Experienced defender Riduwan Ma'on was industrious as usual against JDT, helping the ATM defence cope admirably against the Malaysian moneybags, scoring the opening goal.
Hafiz Kamal was instrumental in Pahang's win over Sarawak, contributing two goals. On a proper field, the impact that Andik Vermansyah can make is obvious. He was constantly threatening down the left and caused Tun Afaik plenty of problem with his direct dribbling style. Zulfahmi Ariffin was all about his left foot. One free kick goal, one which hit the bar and one which just sailed over. Zulfahmi was excellent in his deep lying role for Lions XII.
Paulo Rangel wonderful season for Selangor continued with the all important goal against Kelantan. While JDT's striker Safee Sali rescued his team from the jaws of defeat in the dying minutes of the game with an equalising goal, while Nazrul Kamaruzaman makes his team of the week debut this week after scoring in the impressive win against Terengganu.
