thumbnail Hello,

Goal Malaysia runs through the best performers in the seventh round of Malaysian top-flight action

In goal this week is Sharbinee Allaweewho was in inspired form as Terengganu secured a vital win against cash laden Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT).

In defence, Vincent Bikana was instrumental in keeping the expensive JDT attackers at bay and he also scored the all important winning goal. Sime Darby's Ghanaian star William Mensah was also an inspirational figure, helping his club secure a 2-0 win against Perak. Sarawak's loyal servant Ronny Harun produced a strong performance to seal a home win against LionsXII, while Zubir Azmi of Terengganu was stellar on the flanks; pushing forward at every attempt to help in attack, while also responsibly dropping back to fulfill his defensive duties.

Mario Karlovic was the dominating figure at the base of Terengganu's midfield. Composed and elegant on the ball, Karlovic read through almost everything that JDT could throw at him. Pahang's Azidan Sarudin continues to impress on a weekly basis. Kelantan couldn't deal with his prowess on set piece situations with his pinpoint delivery to Saiful Nizam a big example of this. On the right wing, Sarawak's S.Chanturu, who had a forgettable year with Perak last season, looks to have benefited from a move to new pastures. Threatening all game with his runs and dribbles, the two goals he scored came from his good positional awareness. Diminutive Khairu Azrin completes our midfield and he took his goal well, a precise and controlled finished right into the top corner against T-Team.

Rashid Aya makes his debut in our line-up as he did well to keep pressuring the LionsXII's defence and create space for his teammates up front in the memorable win. ATM's veteran Argentinian striker Juan Arostegui spearheads our attack, with his resilience present in finding his team's equaliser.
