Barcelona's new signing has already joined training sessions and El Loco sizes up the super pairing of Neymar and Messi
Things are looking good at Nou Camp as Barcelona prepare for the new season under manager Gerardo 'Tata' Martino.
Nevermind the fact the Catalans have yet to sign a high-rated centreback to ease their problems in the heart of defence.
Barca should be more than ready in their bid to retain the Primera Liga title and win the Champions League as well.
Some have doubts on whether new-signing Neymar can fit in well with Barca and get along with superstar Lionel Messi, too.
Neymar, who joined the Barca squad earlier this week, seems to be enjoying his new adventure, though.
What is encouraging is that the Brazilian sensation is eager to show what he is made of to help the Catalans win titles.
The 21-year-old has also reiterated that he can get along pretty well with Messi. This is one vital factor.
Some Barca fans are understandably worried about the Neymar and Messi relationship.
Things would not be good for the team if they could not see eye-to-eye. In fact, a disaster could happen.
"My relationship with Messi is marvellous. I speak with him every day and I can assure you that there will be no problem. Messi is the best in the world and I am here to help him," Neymar said on Thursday.
The Brazil international is also eager to show that as far as he is concerned, there will be peace in the changing rooms.
"It's a very special club, I'm getting to know everybody and I must say that what has surprised me most is the team. They are much better than I had expected," he said.
"Barca's playing style is the best in the world, and I'm trying to adapt to this fast way of playing.
"I speak to Alves, Adriano, Dos Santos, Messi, Pinto ... I talk to them all - with Xavi, too - but these are the ones I most speak to," he said.
"In Brazil it's even worse and I'm used to it. It's a part of the game.
"A dream that I had since I was a child has come true. I look around, and see Messi, Xavi ... I can only say that I'm really happy.
"I'll play like I always do – trying to score goals. I can't wait to play in Nou Camp. I hope I can score and celebrate a goal. I've already thought about how I'll do it!"
Pretty convincing comments from Neymar.
Neymar is now following a strict diet laid down by Barca' medical team, in order to put on three kilograms.
"It's coming on well, and I'm training harder and harder every day. After my tonsil operation, I lost eight [kilograms], but I'm putting it back on," he said.
Midfield maestro Xavi is convinced Neymar will prove to be a big success. He has no doubts Neymar and Messi can play together.
"Good players can always adapt. Messi and Neymar will benefit each other mutually. We are delighted by his arrival. You cannot think anything negative," said Xavi.
"We welcome a player destined to make a difference."
Xavi should know what he was talking about - being an experienced player.
With that said, Barca fans can look forward to see the Neymar-Messi combination creating havoc to the opponents.
Barca fans in Malaysia can't wait to see them in action on August 10 at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.
This is when Malaysia entertain the Catalans in a friendly. Can't afford to miss this if one is a true lover of sexy football.
