As Neymar is set to don the colours of Barcelona, El Loco says that its too soon to judge how he will fit with the Catalan giants
So Brazil star player Neymar will be presented as Barcelona's latest signing at Nou Camp on Monday.
And what an occasion it will be for the gifted 21-year-old, who has been dreaming to be with Barca and play alongside Argentine wizard Lionel Messi.
Neymar has massive talent, based on his overall performances with Santos and Brazil.
For example, he has scored 54 goals from 103 matches for Santos since he started to play at the senior level for the club in 2009.
He also has 32 caps with Brazil with 20 goals to show for it after making his debut in 2010.
Barca fans are delighted that the Catalans have finally secured Neymar's signature as they prepare for the new season.
And Barca fans in Malaysia, on the other hand, are poised to witness the new Messi-Neymar combination in action when Barca take on the Malaysian Selection at the Bukit Jalil Stadium on August 10.
Oh sorry, not only Barca fans, but football lovers all over are raring to watch this special match as well.
What's more, the Malaysians are poised to be among the first in the world to have witnessed these two in action for the first time together.
Interesting and how fortunate Malaysians are, really.
Some critics, however, are of the opinion that Barca have taken this big risk by signing Neymar and he may well turn out to be a big flop at Nou Camp.
And some critics also say that Neymar and Messi may not be able to get along well because of they colossal egos.
Neymar has already said that he is looking forward to play alongside the best player in the world and genius from Argentina.
Not everyone can have this chance to play alongside Messi, no matter how good he is.
And Neymar has. This must be one of the main reasons he snubbed Real Madrid who reportedly offered a better deal.
Barca, of course, have coughed up a lot of money to sign Neymar.
Although the exact fee has not been disclosed, the total will surely exceed €50 million, which would seem an awful lot to pay for a player whose Santos contract was set to expire within just a year's time.
But this is Neymar, who is set to become one of the top players in the world in the near future.
If he continues to progress at the present rate, within a few years he may well be on a par with Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.
So, it is too early to say that Neymar will be a flop - considering the fact that he has yet to kick a ball for Barca. Furthermore, he may need some time to settle down at Nou Camp.
This is not forgetting that Barca superstars like Messi, Andres Iniesta and Xavi can also give tips to him to be deadlier.
Neymar can be another pain in the neck for Barca opponents.
And know what?
Neymar is a sure-fire investment off the pitch, as well.
He has this tremendous commercial appeal, as evidenced by the numerous brands that are queuing up to endorse him.
Believe it or not, he is now the fifth-highest earning footballer in the world, behind heavyweights like David Beckham, Messi, Ronaldo and Samuel Eto'o.
No matter how much Barca invested in Neymar, at least some of the money surrounding him will indirectly be back to line the Barca coffers.
Whatever it is, I just can't wait for August 10.
