FA Cup Team of the Round: Jovetic joined by Dzeko, Nasri & Silva

A weekend of high drama in the FA Cup saw Arsenal set up a tricky looking quarter-final clash with Everton as reward for beating Liverpool, while Manchester City gained revenge on Chelsea.

Elsewhere, Sunderland kept up their impressive form under Gus Poyet by defeating Southampton and there could be a Sheffield derby on the horizon, should Wednesday get the better of Charlton in their rearranged fifth-round tie.

Left the field midway through the second half to a rousing ovation after an effective display. Lively and scored a fine goal.

JOVETIC GIVES MAN CITY THE LEAD! Dzeko is the architect as his perfectly-weighted pass picks out Jovetic on the right. The Montenegrin opts to shoot first time and his well-placed finish goes across Cech and into the bottom corner. Where was Azpilicueta?
It's at the Emirates Stadium where Goal's Team of the Round begins. Goalkeeper Lukas Fabianski (4) stepped in to replace Wojciech Szczesny against Liverpool, stopping Daniel Sturridge in particular on more than one occasion.

Manchester City recovered from their Premier League defeat to Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium by claiming a 2-0 win in Saturday's FA Cup tie and skipper Vincent Kompany (4) led from the back, with the Belgian particularly invincible in the air.

Leighton Baines (3.5) also slots in at the back following his strke from the penalty spot in Everton's 3-1 win over Swansea and Gary Cahill (3.5), despite being on the end of a 2-0 defeat, did enough to force his way into Goal's starting XI.

In midfield, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (4) earns a place for his impressive performance against Liverpool, with the England World Cup hopeful scoring the Gunners' first of the afternoon before laying on the second for Lukas Podolski in the 2-1 victory.

Steven Gerrard (3.5) is also selected despite being on the losing team, with the 33-year-old midfielder scoring from the penalty spot as well as being a creative force for Brendan Rodgers' side.

Wigan's FA Cup hero Ben Watson (4) was at it again in the competition, this time the former Crystal Palace man smashed home an unstoppable free kick to score the winner against Premier League Cardiff City in Wales.

Manchester City duo David Silva (4) and Samir Nasri (4) are also selected having been in top form in the victory over Chelsea - France international Nasri netting his side's second goal having been introduced as a second-half substitute.

In attack it's two more of Manuel Pellegrini's players as Montenegro forward Stevan Jovetic (4) and former Wolfsburg star Edin Dzeko (4) combined well to help ease the hosts through to a quarter-final meeting with Wigan.
