thumbnail Hello,

The Manchester City attacker has become notorious for stubbornly refusing to express any joy after finding the back of the net, something that his compatriot cannot fathom

Gennaro Gattuso has admitted that while he has nothing but admiration for Mario Balotelli, the Italy striker drives him mad by not properly celebrating his goals.

The Manchester City forward often greets his strikes with stone-faced indifference and even when he netted his only goal of Euro 2012 so far, against Republic of Ireland, he had to be restrained from continuing a foul-mouthed outburst by Leonardo Bonucci.

Gattuso is hoping that if Balotelli scores against Germany in Thursday's semi-final clash in Warsaw that he will for once explode with joy, not anger.

"Mario is crazy talented," the former Azzurri midfielder told Il Corriere della Sera. "But he makes me furious when he scores and doesn't celebrate.

"How can you be 21 and not be happy at certain times? But if he scores, I will celebrate in his place!"

Italy's last-four encounter with Die Mannschaft will kick off at 20:45CET.
