Sub-contractors who claim that they are owed money by construction firm Hydrobudowa intend to set up a blockade on the main road to the city's ground with diggers and bulldozers
Sub-contractors are furious that they have not been paid money owed to them by construction company Hydrobudowa and are considering using diggers and bulldozers to seal off the main road to the ground in protest.
The Gdansk Transport Authority fears that those supporters who intend to drive to the ground will end up getting stuck in huge traffic jams and are therefore advising people to take the train, bus or tram instead.
"Due to the blockade we have worked out a different plan for public transport to the stadium," Gdansk Transport Authority told Gazeta. Access to the stadium will be ensured.
Croatia's crucial clash with Spain is scheduled to kick off at 20:45CET.
