Favourites Spain have recorded three friendly wins over Serbia, South Korea, and most recently, China, as Vicente del Bosque's side embark on the defence of their European Championship crown without the injured Barcelona duo of Carles Puyol and David Villa.
Netherlands suffered a surprise defeat against Bulgaria in their first pre-tournament friendly, but recovered well to secure comfortable wins over Slovakia and Northern Ireland.
Also in Group B with the Dutch are Germany, who endured a stuttering warm-up to Euro 2012 with a 2-0 victory over Israel following a 5-3 defeat to Switzerland,
Italy have fared even worse than Germany in their build-up, however, as Cesare Prandelli's men lost both their warm-up games to the USA and Russia.
England, who looked steady in their preparations under new boss Roy Hodgson, and recorded 1-0 wins over both Norway and Belgium, have suffered significant casualties in their squad as Gareth Barry, Frank Lampard and Gary Cahill were ruled out of the tournament.
While France, who are in Group D with England, sealed their tournament preparations with a 4-0 rout over Estonia on Tuesday after securing earlier victories against Serbia and Iceland.
