The Real Madrid boss admits the Argentina international's future has not yet been resolved and suggests the player could still leaveReal Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti admits he is unsure if Angel Di Maria has decided to remain with the club.
Goal understands that the Champions League holders are open to selling the Argentina international before the end of the transfer window but are holding out for a fee of €60 million (£47.5m).
Manchester United have already been in talks with Di Maria’s representatives and had faced competition from Paris Saint-Germain before the French champions pulled out of negotiations after deeming the move too expensive.
And now Ancelotti concedes the 26-year-old’s future at Madrid is not yet resolved.
"I'm not entering into the issue about Di Maria, because I'll lose focus on the game [against Atletico Madrid],” Ancelotti told reporters on Monday.
“I do not know what he has decided, I just know that he is ready to play, and until August 31 he will be here in principle. If from there he stays or is no longer here, we will think about it later.”
