Ramires is staying at Chelsea, Mourinho tells Real Madrid

The Blues boss has also rubbished reports he wants to sign Sami Khedira or Raphael Varane and says he is not interested in buying any of Carlo Ancelotti's players
Jose Mourinho has insisted that Ramires will stay at Chelsea and that he has told Real Madrid the midfielder is not for sale.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side have been linked with a move for the Brazil international recently while the Blues have also been rumoured to be interested in several Madrid stars.

However, Mourinho has rubbished talks of Ramires leaving Stamford Bridge and is also adamant that he does not want to sign any Real Madrid players.

“I have a great relationship with important people at Real Madrid and they know that Ramires is going to stay at Chelsea,” he told Marca.

“They know I’m not interested in any Real Madrid player.
“Raphael Varane and Sami Khedira? I repeat I’m not interested in any Madrid player, full stop.”

Chelsea have already begun re-building their squad for next season having signed Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona and with the Blues boss confirming he is "very confident" of securing Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa after he completed a medical ahead of £35m move.

Goal understands Mourinho is also ready to sell goalkeeper Petr Cech with Thibaut Courtois set to return to Stamford Bridge after a loan spell in Spain.

David Luiz, meanwhile, has agreed a deal with join PSG while Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole have both confirmed they will leave Mourinho's side this summer.
