The Belgium international has scored 13 goals in 26 appearances during his loan spell at Everton this term, while the player’s agent claimed he has held talks with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.

"He is a player who signed at a young age for Chelsea,” the Spurs boss told talkSPORT.

“He’s had two good loan spells. Whether he will come here will be addressed at the end of the season."

On Friday, Jose Mourinho confirmed Chelsea have not been approached regarding Lukaku's availability but refused to discuss the 20-year-old's future at Stamford Bridge.

“I don’t think it’s the time to speak about it,” said Mourinho.

“He is a Chelsea player but at the same time he is also an Everton player until the end of the season and we want to respect that. Everton has been a good club for a loan.”
