Perak announce more signings, the Planters secure Karlo Primorac's replacements


After signing Martin Kafando and the UiTM duo of Hidayat Amaruddin and Haziq Aris, Berita Harian on Wednesday reported that the Silver State have made several more additions to their 2014 squad. Manager Azhar Ahmad said that players signed from other teams are Norhizwan Hassan (UiTM), Idris Ahmad (PDRM), Fazli Zulkifli (Felda), Razi Effendi (PKNS) and Tuah Iskandar (JDT).

They have also promoted several youth players; Syamil Khairi, J. Partiban, Ridzuan Azly and Ahmad Syukri from their President's Cup squad.

Also set for a return to Ipoh are their former players Shahrizal Saad and veteran midfielder Hardi Jaafar.

In the same report, Azhar also told that they are loaning out their third goalkeeper Jibrail Baharin to their feeder team; Yayasan Bina Upaya who compete in the third tier of the Malaysian professional football system; the FAM League.


After losing their striker Karlo Primorac to PKNS, the Planters' head coach Ismail Zakaria today told the New Straits Times that they have signed three imports. Their names are yet to be revealed, and what is known so far is that two of them are from Ghana and one is from Uzbekstan. Also set to feature for them in 2014 is former Felda United and Terengganu striker; Farderin Kadir.
