In this edition's transfer update, T-Team fulfil their foreign player quota while PDRM sign Maldives skipper.
After weeks of speculations of his future, ATM and Malaysia centre-back Amiridzwan Taj confirmed through his Twitter account that he is staying with ATM for the 2014 season. He was earlier linked with several top teams including his birth state, Kelantan, on the back of his stellar performance in the 2013 Malaysia Cup for ATM and the 2015 Asian Cup qualifiers for Malaysia. But Gladiators' head coach, B. Sathianathan had confidently announced that Amiridzwan is sure to extend his contract with the team upon his return from national duty - a sentiment that was proven to be vindicated by Amiridzwan's announcement.
T-Team CEO, Abdul Rashid Jusoh told Sinar Harian that their new foreign players will be featured for the first time in a friendly match against Terengganu on November 26. The two players are Croatian Ivan Partlov and Fabio Flor from Brazil. Flor had previously played for Terengganu from 2005 to 2008. The two are the final additions to T-Team's foreign quota, following the Kuala Terengganu's outfit signing of Indonesia winger Patrich Wanggai a week ago.
It was revealed that PDRM have signed Maldivian striker Ali Ashfaq on a one-year contract. The 28-year-old Maldives international skipper has previously played for India's Club Valencia and S-League's DPMM FC.
