The 32-year-old had fallen out of favour at West Brom after trying to force through a deadline-day move to QPR back in January, and he finally got his desired departure late on Monday, signing a two-year deal at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Odemwingie will be hoping to make his first Premier League start of the season when Cardiff continue resume their campaign against Hull City Tigers on September 14.
