The 24-year-old, reportedly a target for Arsenal, offers a thinly veiled clue that his future could lie elsewhere, remarking that "anything can happen" in footballOlympique Lyonnais captain Maxime Gonalons has hinted that he could leave Stade de Garland this summer.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a switch away from les Gones during the off-season, with Napoli among those rumoured to be interested in swooping for the France international, while Arsenal have previously been reported suitors.
Speaking to the club's official website, Gonalons insisted that he is focusing solely on Lyon but did little dissuade potential suitors from enquiring about him by alluding to how quickly things can change in football.
"I've seen the speculation from afar, followed it on the internet," he noted. "There are lots of rumours, even if certain things are true.
"Playing for a club like Lyon, I know that I am in the public eye, that other big clubs watch us. I know the club have confidence in me and that is important.
"I am concentrating only on OL but, in football, anything can happen very quickly."
The midfielder is contracted to the French giants until 2016.
