The Premier League strugglers could add to the deadline-day signing of Chris Samba before the window shuts, although the Stoke City striker will not be moving to Loftus RoadQPR boss Harry Redknapp has ruled out a move for Stoke City striker Peter Crouch but hinted that Andros Townsend could make the switch to Loftus Road.
The former Tottenham man has been linked with a reunion with Redknapp as the Rs boss looks to further bolster his squad on deadline day following the arrival of Chris Samba from Anzhi.

He said: "There's one or two little pieces going on. I don't think that [Crouch] is going to happen, I think Tony [Pulis] wants to keep him. I would have loved to have brought Crouchy back to QPR."
Goal.com earlier revealed that QPR were ready to pull the plug on deals for Tottenham trio Townsend, Jermaine Jenas and David Bentley, although Redknapp is still hoping he can raid his former club for players.
"Bits of it are ongoing, it hit a bit of brick wall last night," he added. "It's still possible we might get one or two in. I'm not sure really, we did a deal with Tottenham on the wages, it's a good deal, it saves them the wages and playing time for someone like Townsend - he's a young player with a big future so we'll wait and see."
