The former Marseille man has admitted there was contact with the Stamford Bridge club during the summer and has also identified PSG as the club of his dreamsNewcastle playmaker Hatem Ben Arfa has suggested that he wants to leave the club, citing Chelsea, Arsenal or Liverpool as preferred destinations.
The Frenchman has become a key man for Alan Pardew's side since joining the club from Marseille in 2010, having scored 10 goals in just under 50 appearances.
But he has now revealed that Chelsea registered an interest in acquiring him in the summer and admitted that he would be open to such a move in the future.
"I am interested in Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. Today, these clubs are above Newcastle," Ben Arfa told BeIn Sport.

The 25-year-old also predicted that rumoured Magpies target Loic Remy would "explode" if given the chance to play in the Premier League.
"Remy is right to come here," he continued. "This is a player who has shown that when he is confident he can be a great striker. He will like it here and I, along with other French players, will help him. He will explode."
And, despite stating that he intends to remain in the Premier League, Ben Arfa did concede that a move to Paris St. Germain could lure him back to his native France.
"Today, my goal is to stay in England," he added. "Paris St. Germain, why not? This is the club of my dreams."
