The Istanbul club have quashed speculation linking them with a move for the Brazilian veteran, who is reportedly on his way out of San Siro
Nerazzurri coach Andrea Stramaccioni had previously revealed his desire to keep the 34-year-old at San Siro, but the player's agent admitted that his client was looking to leave the club this summer.
However, it now seems that he will not be moving to the Turkish club, with Fenerbahce releasing a statement to end the speculation on their official website.
"In the press recently, there have been many stories concerning the transfer of Inter's Lucio. These reports do not reflect reality," the statement read.
"This, along with other speculative articles have a negative effect on our work in the transfer market, bring unnecessary expectations, and as our club is listed on the stock exchange, investors are misled."
Fenerbahce finished second in the Super Lig last season, and will compete in the qualifying stage for the Champions League.
