The nouveau riche Parisians are ready to make a lucrative offer for the Argentine's services in an effort to boost their front line ahead of the next campaign
Paris Saint-Germain have launched a €26 million bid for Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport. The Parisian club have long been linked with a move for a striker after Kevin Gameiro failed to impress IN his first season at Parc des Princes after his move from Lorient.
PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti has already confirmed his interest in the 27-year-old, while Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has hinted that the Argentine could soon leave the Neapolitan club.
Backed by their Qatari owners, the Ligue 1 runners-up are reportedly ready to offer Lavezzi €4.5m per year, a luxury apartment in Paris, a car, and free travel to and from Argentina, where he has a son.
However, another club linked with Lavezzi's signature, Inter, are confident that they are the Argentine's preferred destination, due to his affection for the city of Milan.
Lavezzi has a buy-out clause of €30.8m, and De Laurentiis is eager to get the full amount rather than PSG's offer, which is currently a little over €4m shy.
