Juventus are ready to cash in on Eljero Elia in the summer transfer window, and have offered the winger to Bundesliga outfits Schalke and Wolfsburg, Tuttosport reports.
The 25-year-old attacker joined Juventus from Hamburg in the summer of 2011, but has been unable to live up to the high expectations at the Old Lady. Elia has mainly been warming the bench in Turin and has made only three Serie A appearances so far this campaign.
Juve coach Antonio Conte has said more than once that he still believes that the Netherlands international has what it takes to succeed in Serie A, but the 42-year-old is supposedly running out of patience.
Therefore, the Old Lady have put Elia up for sale, and they are hopeful of offloading the winger to a Bundesliga side.
Elia was already heavily linked with Wolfsburg before joining Juventus. Schalke are also believed to be monitoring the attacker's situation, with attackers Jefferson Farfan and Jose Manuel Jurado reportedly close to an exit in the summer.
The winger has a contract with the Bianconeri until the summer of 2015, but an offer in the region of €7 million could be enough to lure him away from his current club.
