The Swansea defender was scathing in his assessment of los Blancos following their Champions League exit to Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday nightAngel Rangel accused Real Madrid of being "nasty, provocative and powerless" following their Champions League semi-final exit at the hands of Borussia Dortmund.
Los Blancos won 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night, but a 4-1 first-leg defeat meant the Bundesliga side advanced to the final at Wembley thanks to a 4-3 aggregate success.
And the Swans' Spanish defender then gave a scathing assessment of Jose Mourinho's side after the game.
"I feel like I have to praise Borussia Dortmund. Madrid were unfortunate as always, nasty, provocative and powerless," he tweeted.
"Congratulations to a great team Borussia Dortmund. As it should be, the team from Germany, are a great example of how to use younger players,"
Rangel joined Swansea from Terrassa in 2007, and has since made over 230 appearances for the Premier League club.
