Phil Jones is set to make his first Manchester United appearance of the season in the Red Devils' Champions League clash with Galatasaray.
The 20-year-old has missed the start of the current campaign due to back and knee injuries, but has been back in training for a fortnight.
Elsewhere in Sir Alex Ferguson's much-changed line-up, former Crewe midfielder Nick Powell makes his European debut alongside Anderson in midfield.
Michael Carrick will move back into defence to partner Jones, while Alexander Buttner is brought in for Patrice Evra at left-back.
The hosts need a win to keep their qualification hopes alive and include former Premier League stars Emmanuel Eboue, Albert Riera and Johan Elmander in their line-up.
United, meanwhile, have already sealed top spot.
