The Nerazzurri president is confident that the Serie A giants were right to appoint the former Napoli coach after parting ways with Andrea Stramaccioni last termWalter Mazzarri can lead Inter to a new era of success, according to club president Massimo Moratti.
The Nerazzurri lured the former Napoli coach to the Giuseppe Meazza this summer following the decision to part company with Andrea Stramaccioni.
After recruiting the youthful likes of Chelsea loanee Wallace, Mauro Icardi and Ishak Belfodil, Mazarri has been identified as someone who can nurture them.
"We have signed a lot of young players but this is not a mistake. We know they are ready," Moratti told the club's official website.
"When we decided on this approach, we needed a man who agreed with the policy and knows how to exploit that potential and Mazzarri is that man."
Although the 51-year-old has only been with Inter for a matter of months, Moratti believes tthat he early signs of a fruitful relationship are there to be seen.
"He has already entered the hearts of the fans," the president added. "He has good ideas and deals with the club and the players in a nice way.
"It is much the same as with Paul Ince. He was only with us for a year and a half but remains in the memory because he was a great professional."
