The former Stuttgart man reflected on an inconsistent 2012-13 for the club, adding that he believes next season will bring more success than the current one.
"I'm happy to be here. We've been through some difficult moments and we expected to do better, to get into Europe, but we'll improve.
"I'm convinced that next year will be our season. We'll start over from scratch, we'll only have the league and the Coppa Italia so we'll be able to focus on those.
"My future? I'm staying put and am glad to do so."
Kuzmanovic also said that he wants to see coach Andrea Stramaccioni remain at the club, despite speculation that he could be fired this summer.
"He's our coach and we have a lot of confidence in him, we want to carry on with him."
Finally, the Serb gave his opinion on highly-rated youngster Mateo Kovacic, who also joined the club in January.
"He's coming along well, he's already picked up a bit of Italian and I'm very happy for him. I think he's got a great career ahead of him."
