The attacker, 21, made his debut for the Italy national team in September against Malta, and has helped fill the gap for the Partenopei this campaign after the summer departure of Ezequiel Lavezzi.
"It's been a great year for Lorenzo Insigne, both in professional and personal terms,” Antonio Ottaiano, who represents the forward, told Kiss Kiss Napoli on Friday.
“The striker has achieved incredible results with Napoli and the Italian national team."
Lorenzo’s younger sibling, Roberto Insigne, is also on the books at Stadio San Paolo, and Ottaiano revealed that a loan move for his client will ideally be lined up next campaign.
“Roberto Insigne? Loan requests are there for him, but Napoli is going to try and make big strides in the league, and so it will be difficult for the club to dispose of him,” the agent added.
“[But] he will definitely go on loan into next season."
