The coveted Azzurrini striker has new suitors in the form of the Serie A winners, and progress appears to have been made in negotiations to bring the youngster to TurinJuventus' interest in coveted starlet Manolo Gabbiadini has been confirmed by Atalanta as the Old Lady look to reinforce their forward lines for the club's participation in next season's Champions League.
The 20-year-old Italy Under-21 striker has constantly been touted as one for the future despite only scoring one goal in 23 league appearances for the mid-table Serie A side, and his performances appear to have attracted the attention of the newly-crowned Serie A champions.
"Talks with Juventus for Gabbiadini have started," confirmed Atalanta director Pierpaolo Marino to Sport Mediaset when asked about the existence of a €4 million co-ownership bid from Turin.
"Things still have to progress though, especially with regards to the players they want to offer us in exchange.
"We would prefer to sell the player, who we believe in a lot, in a co-ownership deal rather than letting him go outright," concluded Marino.
Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund have been linked with a €10m move for Gabbiadini in the past. Should Juventus acquire the services of the starlet, he will join Sebastian Giovinco, Kwado Asamoah and Mauricio Isla as the Bianconeri's latest signings.
