Pescara join Torino in securing Serie A promotion

The Czech-born coach has succeeded in guiding the club to the top tier of Italian football with one match left to play before Serie B comes to an end
Pescara have become the second side to secure promotion to Serie A following Sunday's 3-1 victory at Sampdoria.

Two goals from Gianluca Caprari either side Ciro Immobile's strike gave Pescara the three points and assured that they will finish in the top two in Serie B ahead of their final match against Nocerina.

Zdenek Zeman's side will be joined in Serie A next season by seven-time Italian champions Torino, who return to the top tier of football after a three-year absence.

Sassuolo, Verona, Varese and Sampdoria will now play for the last place in Serie A via the play-off system.
