Inter coach Claudio Ranieri could decide to drop Wesley Sneijder from the Nerazzurri's starting XI for the upcoming Champions League round of 16 first-leg clash against Olympique de Marseille on Wednesday.
Ranieri feels that the 2010 Champions League winners are too vulnerable in midfield if they play with Sneijder and two strikers, and will have to make a choice between either fielding only one forward or dropping the Dutchman.
"I will have to make a choice here. We can not afford to play with Sneijder and two attackers, because we then miss someone in midfield," Ranieri said to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Sneijder is not a problem for Inter though, but a solution instead. We will have to use him at the right moment. We can pick ourselves up again in the match against Marseille."
Wednesday's match at the Stade Velodrome kicks off at 20.45CET.
