The Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) has decided not to sell any tickets to the Perak fans in order to avoid any unnecessary incidents when Sarawak face Perak this Saturday at Kuching.
Abu Bakar Marzuki, the vice president of the FAS said, the decision was made after the fighting incident that happened among the fans that currently went viral in Sarawak’s fans social network site.
According to Sinar Harian, Abu Bakar said “There will be no tickets for Perak fans to see the game against Sarawak this Saturday. We take this actions because we are worried that Perak fans will use that time to have any revenge on our fans after what happened in Ipoh last week.”
“We are worried, worried if the emotions and over-sentiments among our fans may cause any unwanted incidents during the game,” added Abu Bakar.
Meanwhile, Perak Football Association were surprised when they were informed that Sarawak fans were treated badly after the game in Perak Stadium last week.
However, reports suggested that PAFA are yet to receive any news in regards to fighting incidents that happened among the two sets of fans.
Both Perak and Sarawak are drawn in the Group B, alongside east-coast giant Terengganu and premier league side Kedah in the group.
