Kelantan captain Badhri Radzi has rubbished all speculations linking him with a transfer to Felda United next year; though he did admit that an offer from a different team was tabled to him recently
Recent rumours have suggested that The Settlers are keen on recruiting Badhri to boost their squad after being promoted back into the Super League. However, Piya himself is baffled at this rumour, claiming that there was absolutely no truth in it.
"The story linking me to Felda United is nonsense. I don't even know where that came from," the Red Warriors midfielder was quoted as saying to Astro Arena.
"Though I will admit that I have received an offer from PDRM, but for the time being I'm not thinking about it. My mind is fully focused on the Malaysia Cup challenge that lies ahead."
Kelantan have had a pretty topsy turvy year thus far, and they will certainly be looking to at least salvage some pride in the Malaysia Cup. However, they were drawn into the group of death with Johor DT, ATM as well as Penang. The pressure is certainly on the Red Warriors this time around, though Piya remains defiant over his side's ability to do well.
"I'm incredibly optimistic of our chances, though we will be spearheading our mission in the group of death. But this gives us the perfect avenue to prove our mettle once again, after the disappointing Super League season," he added.
