Bojan Hodak, head coach of Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT), is aiming for his team to at least make it into the quarter-finals of the Malaysia Cup.

Quoted from the official website of JDT, Bojan said “We should focus on the next round, and whatever it is, our target is to win every game and (the) tournament. Only injuries and suspensions can hinder such objectives.”

Bojan also expects that it will be three-horse race in Group C with teams vying for qualification to the next round, but he also believes that Penang will give a tough challenge also.

“All four are good teams. However, Penang might struggle a littler because the gap between the quality of Premier League and (the) Super League. However they are very dangerous at home. The battle between ATM, Kelantan and JDT will decide who will advance to the next round,” added Bojan.

Bojan also explained that during the fasting month his players only train during night time, but he will not use that as an excuse in hunting for another trophy this season.

JDT are one of the favourites to win the cup after winning the MSL title this year. They will kick off their Malaysia Cup campaign against last years finalists Kelantan at Larkin Stadium, Johor Bharu, on August 13th.
