ATM head coach B, Sathianathan will once again be relying on his import striker Juan Arostegui to create another upset when they face league leaders Johor Darul Ta’zim.
The Argentinian, who scored in their upset win over Selangor last weekend, will look to be on the scoresheet once again as ATM fight to survive in the Super League.
According to The Star, Sathia said “There is no doubt I will rely on Aroestegui’s brilliance in front of goal once again. JDT are in great form and they are favourites for the title but Arostegui is in a great form as well. He could have scored 16 goals if not for the seven attempts that were denied by the post.”
ATM are currently without some of the key players such as K.Reuben, Amiridzwan Taj and Christie Jayaseelan, but Sathia said JDT should not underestimate them.
“We maybe an under-strength side but we will fight on with players like Hairuddin Omar, Bruno Martelotto and Arestogui,” he added.
Arestogui signed for ATM during the last transfer window after their prolific striker Marlon Alex James had to be withdrawn from the squad due to injuries.
The striker, who scored 50 goals during his two spells with Selangor MPPJ in 2003, is determined to help ATM to gain more points and goals in their remaining fixtures.
