Azraai Khor, the coach of T-Team, is confident that his team can survive the MSL one more time and will not be relegated to the Premier League for next season.
After barely remaining in the MSL for this season, T-Team are once again struggling at the bottom of the table, but Azraai Khor is determined to ensure that they stay in the top league.
He told Bernama, “I don’t want to be the first T-Team coach to bring the team to the Premier League, so I will do everything to make sure that we are safe from relegation zone.”
Their chances of staying in the league received huge a boost as they managed to beat PKNS FC at home, which moved them from 11th to 9th spot in the MSL standings.
“Our current targets are to remain in the Super League next season, and to make sure that we can make it for the Malaysia Cup,” he added.
T-Team currently have 22 points after 19 matches this season, and are five points ahead of PKNS, who are at the bottom of the table.
With the season drawing to the end, T-Team, ATM, Perak and PKNS FC are all fighting for survival for next year’s MSL with just three matches to seal their fates.
