Kelantan’s captain marvel Badhri Radzi, or Piya, has urged his teammates to turn their focus on the Super League after they bowed out from the FA Cup recently.

Kelantan failed to defend their FA Cup trophy this year after Felda United knocked them out in the semi-finals, and Piya wants his teammates to forget about it and focus on their next game against Lions XII in the MSL.

According to Bernama, Piya said “We need to win so that supporters will have confidence on us once again. We cannot drop any more points and we must be consistent if we want to finish as high as possible.”

Piya also added that Mohamad Shawky and Fakri Saarani may return to the first eleven after both of them have struggled with injuries.

“They are capable of handling the midfield and inspire the team so their presence will be a huge boost to the whole team,” he added.

Piya also warned that Lions’ Khairul Amri is a man to watch and the current MSL Champion can create an upset with their young crop of players.

Kelantan’s inconsistent performances has put them 6th in the table currently, with only 25 points, nine behind league leaders Selangor.
