Kelantan’s captain marvel Badhri Radzi is confident that Kelantan can end the Super League campaign among the top five teams.
Piya stated that the gap between the current top five teams is not that much, and after Kelantan have regained their form under George Boateng, Piya is confident that the aim is not impossible.
According to Utusan Malaysia, Piya said “The chances are still there, so we cannot slip up in our next game if we want to finish in the top five. At least, we must win all our home games.”
He also added that the win against PKNS recently was a huge boost to his team mates in their quest to improve their position in the league.
Piya insisted that the team’s morale is good and he wants his teammates to be consistent with this kind of form in the next game.
In the Super League, Selangor are currently leading the pack with 31 points, three points more than 2nd place Pahang, closely followed by JDT with 25 points and Terengganu with 23 points.
Meanwhile, for Kelantan, they are tied up with Sarawak and Sime Darby on 22 points, only separated by goal difference.
Piya also revealed that the Kelantan players are blending in well with the new style of play that is being instilled by new head coach George Boateng.
