Kelantan appear to have not registered new signing Wan Zack Wan Haikal with the Football Association of Malaysia. The winger, who is currently sidelined with injury, was snapped up on a three-year-deal recently, but appears to have not been registered with FAM yet.
The only two new player registration that FAM have received from Kelantan is that of Fitri Omar and Brendan Gan. And the footballing body sent out a stern reminder that any new signing would only be eligible to player if they are registered before the 22nd of April.
"Up to now, we have not received anything from Kelantan yet, with regards to Wan Zack Wan Haikal," FAM's Datuk Seri Afandi Hamzah told Berita Harian.
"We have only received the registration of Fitri Omar and Brendan Gan thus far. I'm not sure if his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) has been processed or not; that I would have to check with KAFA. But one thing for sure, no registration has been submitted yet."
While Wan Zack will only be fit in time for the Malaysia Cup in August, the registration has to be completed before April 22nd.
Rumours also suggest that the delay is caused by the fact that Kelantan are still required to drop some faces from their squad registration as their current squad size of 27 players is exceeding the amount allowed by FAM, which is 26.
