Kelantan won comfortably against South China by two goals. Many would say the team effort was the main reason for the win but Steve Darby did have someone special to thank to which is their skipper, Badhri Radzi.

He was widely criticized in the Malaysia Super League (MSL) earlier in the season for his slightly below par performance. However, in this match, he showed everyone how brilliant he was by creating both goals.

In the game against South China, he might not score any goals but he provided sting in Kelantan's attacks, and made South China defence's a horrid one. He barely placed a wrong foot in the game, and his passes were pretty accurate as well. His tactical awareness allowed him to find Ghaddar with an amazing through ball for him to score the winning goal.

If Kelantan are going to hunt for some silverware this season, they need their skipper to maintain his best game throughout.
