The Football Association of Johor (PBNJ) today announced that Bojan Hodak will join the Southern Tigers in the managerial capacity.
The latest move by Hodak sees him basically moving from the North to the South of Peninsular Malaysia, having last coached Kelantan.
This appointment will not affect that of Cesar Ferrando Jimenez who will still continue in his current role as the head coach of the Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) side. The Spaniard has enjoyed a good start to his sojourn in Malaysian football, though it hasn’t been exactly a rip-roaring success, yet. The responsibility of match tactics, game style and development will still be under the care of Jimenez.
PBNJ is counting on the Hodak’s vast knowledge of local football to add to the attributes which Jimenez brings to the team. PBNJ also is hoping that Hodak will be able to contribute his knowledge on the opponents and players to supplement the tactics and innovation that Jimenez brings from his wealth of experience in the European footballing scene.
