Negeri Sembilan head coach believes that winning or losing is not important at this stage, and would rather focus on their weaknesses.
Negeri Sembilan head coach V. Sundramoorthy was clearly satisfied with the performance shown by his team despite only managing a draw against Pos Malaysia FC in a friendly match.
The game at Seremban saw the hosts tied at 1-1 after 90 minutes after a lacklustre performance by the midfield saw the home team failing to perform up to their best standards.
However, Sundramoorthy described the draw was something for them not to worried about and defended his players.
He revealed to Sinar Harian, “Win or lose is not what we were looking at. We just want to find our weaknesses through this series of friendlies. The most important thing is for us to rise and learn from our mistakes and not to do it again.”
Sundramoorthy insisted that he wanted to find a good rhythm in the team and find a the balance especially involving both import and local players.
“It cannot be denied that we are trying our players to play at their not favored positions. This will give us a huge advantage in the future if we are lacking players in any position later on,” he added.
Sundramoorthy took charge of Negeri Sembilan after leading LionsXII to the Malaysian Super League title last season.
