After helping Lions XII to Super League triumph last season, coach V. Sundramoorthy has now officially been introduced as the new Negeri Sembilan coach, a decision which surprised many.
President of the Negeri Sembilan Football Association Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said they are currently preparing their team for Premier League challenges next season, and ready to go back into the top league in 2015.
Negeri Sembilan has already filled up their import players quota with the return of Effa Owona from Terengganu, Jean Marc Alexandra, Jozef Kpalan and former South Korea player, Kim Jin Ryong.
According to Sinar Harian, Hasan said “Although we are in the premier league, our goal for next season is to return to the top flight in 2015 so we would not take things lightly.”
Hasan also stated that he wants to see Negeri Sembilan to win the league as well the FA Cup trophy and the Malaysia Cup.
“Our performance this year was really bad that we were relegated to the Premier League. This is because of factors even we ourselves not sure of and we want to redeem that next season,” he added.
Negeri Sembilan will start their Premier League life next season after finishing bottom of the table in the Super league last season.
