Norfarhan Mohamad is officially a Terengganu player after the issues with JDT have finally been resolved

Former Kelantan Striker Norfarhan Mohamad is officially a Terengganu player after the quarrel between the Terengganu Football Association (PBSNT) and the Johor Football Association (JFA) has come to end peacefully.

The issue began when Norfarhan, who had already signed with JDT, made a U-Turn and decided to join his hometown club Terengganu instead. Johor reportedly asked PBSNT to pay a fee of RM490,000 if the player wanted to stay with The Turtles.

However, the issue has finally been resolved between the associations, and according to Marzuki Sulong the vice president of PBSNT, JFA has agreed to take back the complaint letter that they sent to FAM.

Marzuki said “Finally the issue has been settled and Norfarhan is officialy a Terengganu player. I really want to thank to Tunku Ismail for willing to settle this issue peacefully. I also want to thank FAM for helping us solving this problem.”

When asked about payment, Marzuki insisted that there was no big deal, and he added that it is not as large a fee as the RM490,000 which was reported earlier.

Norfarhan was part of Kelantan’s treble winning squad in 2012, and was also influential in The Red Warriors' 2013 FA Cup victory.
