Johor Darul Takzim I sign Luciano Figueroa on a two-year contract while Perak give Anderson Rodrigues a chance to impress.

The Southern Tigers are set to feature more Argentinean flair into their attacking line-up with the signing of former Panathinaikos and River Plate forward, Luciano Figueroa, as revealed by the Johor FA President Tengku Ismail in a Berita Harian report today. The 32-year-old ex-Argentina international was also reported to be signed on a two-year contract, and will be arriving in Johor Bahru on Saturday to start training with his new teammates. JDT earlier signed Argentine international superstar Pablo Aimar, and he is set to partner Figueroa up front.

Perak, who are in the midst of trying out a number of foreign hopefuls, were reported by Utusan Malaysia to also be giving a Brazilian striker by the name of Anderson Rodrigues a chance. The 27-year-old was fielded in a friendly between Perak and an amateur side a few days ago, with Perak winning 2-0 and Rodrigues himself scoring a goal.
