Rumours have surfaced that ATM's veteran forward Hairuddin Omar, who earlier had been reported to have signed a contract with Felda United for the new season, has since made a u-turn to stay with the Gladiators. The rumour also has it that the player, who is also the President of the Malaysian professional footballers' association, had accepted an unknown amount of money from Felda as a signing fee, although he had since returned the payment.
News broke yesterday that LionsXII stars Baihakki Khaizan and Shahril Ishak had signed with Malaysian Premier League side Johor, as confirmed by both of them. Baihakki's contract with Johor is set to run for four years.
