Khairy Jamaluddin admitted that he is growing tired of the Football Association of Malaysia's attitude on refusing to accept criticism aimed at them.
Youth and Sports Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, has responded to former national player, Datuk Jamal Nasir, who said he was hurt by his comments on the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).
According to Utusan Malaysia, Khairy said: "I am not here to avenge anybody.
"I commented on FAM because I want our football to move forward.
"Can’t the minister of sports say anything about that?"
Khairy also insisted that all the comments thrown towards the FAM was proof that he loves Malaysian football and he wants to see the number one sport in the country continue moving forward.
However he was disappointed when his good intentions were misinterpreted by many.
Khairy also refused to comment on Malaysia’s defeat to Kuwait.
He said: "I don’t know.
"You have to ask the FAM because if I give my comment, they will say that I'm criticizing the association."
Khairy added that he will give comments to the FAM from time to time, but for now he is fed up with the association and does not want to give any comments anytime soon.
