In an interview with Bernama, Malaysia and Darul Takzim striker Safee Sali revealed that a number of Indonesian and Thailand clubs have expressed interest in his service. The former Selangor and Pelita Jaya player also explained in the same interview that his contract with the Southern Tigers will run out at the end of this year, and he wants to play at a level higher than just domestic competitions.
After struggling at JDT to achieve the same level of performance that saw him win the Golden Boot award in the 2010 AFF Cup for Malaysia, the 29-year old striker has been linked away from the club, with rumours linking him with his former team, Selangor.
After revealing that Sarawak had given former Bayer Leverkusen defender Manuel Friedrich a trial a few days ago, Utusan Sarawak today revealed that the Crocs had also given a trial to 36-year old Australian striker Daniel McBreen. The former Falkirk and Scunthorpe United player had just come back from a loan spell with Shanghai East Asia, to his club A-League side Central Coast Mariners, with whom he won the 2012/13 season A-League Golden Boot Award. The Mariners maybe releasing or loaning McBreen to Sarawak due to the fact that the club already have an excess of much younger forwards in their squad.
