After the recent Merdeka Tournament and the Menpora Cup, the Young Tigers will be competing in another tournament as preparation for the 2013 SEA GamesAfter winning the 2013 Merdeka Tournament and participating in Menpora Cup last month, Dato' Ong Kim Swee's Young Tigers are going to make one last stop before this year's SEA Games' football competition; by participating in the 2013 BIDC Cup in Cambodia which will be held from 2 to 10 November.
The under 23 tournament will see Malaysia competing in Group B of the competition, along with Laos and the host; Cambodia, whereas Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam have been drawn in Group A.
The Young Tigers will be opening their challenges on Monday, 4 November against Laos, and they will then take on the host on 6 November. The semi final matches will then be held on 8 November between the Group A champions and Group B runners up; and Group B champions and Group A runners up. The final match will take place on 10 November.
All the matches in the tournament will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh.
