T-Team assistant manager, Sekanther Mohd Hamid, has called on the T-Team players to remain focused and keep up their winning momentum in order to qualify for the next round
Mohamad Sekanther Hamid, the assistant manager of T-Team, has insisted that the team is currently focused on qualifying for the next round of the 2013 Malaysia Cup.
With the chances of making it to the quarterfinal still up for grabs, Sekanther does not want the players to be side-tracked from their objectives, but instead, he wants them to continue their winning momentum that saw them defeat Johor Darul Takzim away from home in their last fixture.
According to Bernama, Sekanther said: “We have two more matches to complete before knowing which team from Group B will qualify for the quarterfinals.
“The players are in high spirits after the last game and we are expecting another fine display from our import player George Boateng,” he added.
T-Team will face PKNS in Shah Alam before hosting Felda United for their final game in the group, and they have to win both matches in order to book a place in the quarterfinal.
The arrival of assistant coach Azlan Johar also has made an impact to the team and has brought changes to help the team progress in the Malaysia Cup.
