I need to work harder, says Wan Zack Haikal

Malaysia U23's Junior Eldstal and Wan Zack Haikal spoke to the media about the challenges they will face on Monday
In a press conference held this afternoon, the media got the chance to also speak to Wan Zack Haikal and Junior Eldstal, the two players who contributed to the hosts' 1-0 win over their rivals Singapore. In the match, Wan Zack missed a glorious chance to double Malaysia's lead over the 10-man Singapore after missing a penalty kick.

Wan Zack explained that he is disappointed by his penalty miss, but he is going to work harder to deserve his place as a first team player. He also is looking forward to scoring more goals, and playing better against Myanmar on Monday.

Junior Eldstal, one of the rising stars of Malaysian football, however had a better game. Asked by the press about Malaysia's next game, he said that Myanmar is a strong team, and very good on the counter. However Malaysia are also strong, and they need to do well against Myanmar.

On a more individual note, he stated that he always looks at his aspects of the game that can be improved, and not just the positives.
