We will do our best against Malaysia, says Myanmar's boss

Thin Mynt Aun admitted that Malaysia has a stronger team, but was quick enough to reiterate that his Myanmar troops will be doing their best when they take on the home side.

Myanmar boss Thin Mynt Aun has promised that his men will be giving their all when they take on Malaysia in the Merdeka Cup clash. His charges opened their Merdeka Cup campaign with a frustrating 1-1 draw against Thailand, but Thin Mynt has promised that his men will be giving their all against Malaysia.

"We will try our best against Malaysia," he said

"A lot of our players are tired, so I hope that they will be able to recover in time to face Malaysia.

Thin also mentioned that he has been watching the Malaysia U-23 team for some time, pointing out names like Thamil Arasu and Irfan Fazail and Wan Zack as key players.

"Malaysia is a good team and this will be tough for us. I saw quite a number of their players, including Thamil and Irfan. We don't know much about Wan Zack, but he is a key player for them.

"We will do our best and hopefully we can achieve something."

Malaysia will take on Myanmar on Monday night, with kick off slated for 8.45pm at the Darul Makmur Stadium
