Negeri Sembilan raring to go in Malaysia Cup

Negeri Sembilan have no problems being labelled as the underdogs when the team takes on Terengganu in their first game of Malaysia Cup
Negeri Sembilan Head Coach Ridzuan Abu Shah said that he has no problems with the 'underdogs' tag, because it will take the pressure off of the players.

Speaking to Bernama, Ridzuan revealed: "I reminded the players not to be complacent and stay focused for the match.

"We will try our best because Terengganu are the favourites in the Malaysia Cup tie."

Ridzuan also said that the players are raring to go as all the members of the squad are fit and ready to give their best performance in the campaign.

"I am confident that they are capable of performing their tasks in the match against Terengganu," he added.

Negeri Sembilan will face Terengganu in their first match in Group C, which also consists of defending champions Kelantan and Pahang.
